Having a Halloween party for your little ones this October and in need of enjoyable and simple Halloween party ideas? The best way to make your Halloween party a big success is to have brilliant games and activities for them to do. A combination of spine tingling games and craft activities will keep the children out of mischief and having a fantastic time.

Halloween Arts and Crafts

Children love to dress up in Halloween costumes-it's not just the candy they're after.! So why not let them make their own spooky Halloween masks, hats and costumes? For masks, you will need some paper plates, a hole punch and string, and decorations like glitter, stickers, markers and other oddments. Go to a charity shop and buy some hats, shirts and boots, and allow them to spruce up and assemble their own costumes. Fabric paint and glue make it effortless for them to let their imaginations loose!

Another entertaining craft is, of course, pumpkin carving... but make it less messy and less dangerous by letting the children decorate small pumpkins with markers, glitter, stickers and more.

To end with, let them make their own Halloween party bags. All you need are plain brown paper bags, and lots of things to decorate the bags with. After they have finished adorning their swag bags, take them and fill them with candies, stickers, Halloween pencils and erasers, small toys, orange play dough and such. Then tie them with ribbon or taffeta, and you can give them to the children as a leaving gift.

Halloween Games and halloween costume contacts

Halloween party ideas generally center around games. One of the best games is to put on a Halloween parade, and allow the children to parade their costumes! the little ones can show what they have created!

Trick Or Treat is another activity that young ones will really enjoy doing. Cut up strips of paper, and do two per guests you have invited. On half of the strips write 'trick', and include a trick... something like 'stand on one foot' or 'cluck like a chicken'. On the other half write 'treat'. Put all the strips in a hat or Halloween bag, and get the children to sit in a circle. Each child selects a piece of paper from the hat. If they pull 'trick', they have to perform the trick for the group. if they pull 'treat', then they get to search for a treat, like a small candy or Halloween themed item. Hide the treats around the area.

Mummy Wrap Race is a enjoyable Halloween party idea. Split the kids into small groups, and tell each group to nominate one child as the mummy. The goal of the game is to be the first group to wrap their mummy using a whole roll of toilet tissue.

There are so many of enjoyable and straightforward Halloween party ideas... you're only limited by your imagination!
